Progress

I want to take the time to let you know about the progress of the upcoming release, Journey to Eternity.  Producer James Forsman and I (well, mostly James) have been working really hard to get this done by our deadline in March.  We are expecting to have approximately 10 - 12 tracks on the disc, and as of right now we have about 6 done.  We're half way there, and going strong.  In the next week or so, we should be selecting a single to release to radio.  I will make that selection available (at least a clip) for download when the selection is made.
I want to take a minute and tell you about the title, "Journey to Eternity".  This is still a tentative title, but I feel very strongly about it.  If you've heard much of the Bible, you might know the verse that refers to living life as running a race.  You could also see life as a journey.  There are going to be things in life that you come across - love, feelings of rejection, encouragement, doubt - and all these things are scattered along your journey.  The songs on this upcoming CD deal with all of these things.
There will be times when you love, times when you praise, and times when you wonder if God is even listening to you.  One way or another, you are going to come to the end of your journey.  Might you keep your eye on The Prize on your journey to eternity.
Blessings!

I like the title for the CD, it really makes a lot of sense to define our life as a trip toward forever. Hope the end product makes people on the journey, pause for a moment and choose the only Road worth taking. Thanks for thoughtful insights, Dave, keep up the good work!:)

hi dave. just want to let you know that I think that the title for your CD is very now and today. The newest book by Billy Graham is titled "Journey" and it is about life being a journey, so you are right on with the timing of your CD 'cause the Spirit seems to be giving us a clear message through God's messengers. Keep on walkin' the walk, Buddy.
