Patience Part 2... sort of.

Do you sit back patiently enough to enjoy life? I understand that we are all busy people, but I think sometimes we need to appreciate the calm, quiet times we are given. Ecclesiates 8:15 says, "I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun." Last night, Samantha and I practiced this. We took our supper outside and watched the sunset. There in the quiet, I looked at the beautiful sunset, I looked at my Sam, and God said to me, "You see what I have given you." Maybe you should take a moment to sit back and enjoy life, and maybe you will discover what God has given.... just for you!
Blessings!

hello, my David. It has been a long couple of months, with plumbing malfunctions leading to water laden carpets and drywall...sigh...and of course Granny B's illness and home going...patience is finding fertile ground to grow in. Thank you for reminding me, again, that it is a good thing to be still and know that God is God and He is lovingly patient. May the people who join your mailing list and hear you speak the truth in love, become more patient, kind, gentle, and loving. We love you and miss you and are confident that God, Who has begun a good work in you, will complete it for His Glory. Be at peace, my son, and enjoy the rest of the trip...hi and big hugs to our Samantha!
