New Year's Resolutions?

I'm sure a lot of you have made your new year's resolutions, and I don't even want to know how many have already broken them. Instead of wasting you time on resolutions that you're more than likely bound to break, let's start a new tradition. Let's start making our new year's commitment. With a resolution, you are accountable to one person... you. And if you want to let you slide, then you aren't going to stop you because you want you to do whatever it is that you are trying to keep you from doing... did I get that right? :) If instead, you decide to take you out to the accountability equation and commit these things to God. For example, a good new year's commitment would be, "God, I commit that I am going to read the Bible more" or "Lord, I commit that I am going to pray for the ones that hate me" or "God, I commit to stop being such a pig and eating everything I see" (that one's for me). Instead of just making empty resolutions, try making a real commitment to God.
Blessings!
