Learn to Laugh

For those who don't know, when I am on tour often I get put up for the night by a family from the church. I greatly appreciate all the folks who help out by opening their homes to me while I am away from my home. Tonight, I'm staying with a kind, loving family in Ontario. They have welcomed my into their home, and given me a place to stay. The house was all locked up for the evening, and I needed my clipboard from my car. I quickly grabbed my keys, dashed out the door in my pajamas, grabbed my clipboard and ran back to the front door. What I didn't realize is that the knob on the door was locked... I stood and knocked for some time, but it was no use. No one could hear me. So, I hopped in my car and sped off to the church I had just performed at in hopes that someone was still there. Thankfully, they were. I walked in, in my pjs, with quite the pathetic look on my face, and pathetic story to match of how I locked myself out of my billet's house. The folks at the church quickly called, and told the folks at the house the story. What's the point, Dave? The point is that sometimes we take life way too seriously. The point is that we spend way too much time feeling sorry for ourselves. The point is we get embarrassed way too easily. The point is LIFE IS FUNNY, LAUGH IT UP!!!!! Laughter does good like a medicine. So, get out there and take your meds!!!!!!!!
Blessings!
